Join us to learn the basics of creating a sacred space in your own home. Learn how to set up an authentic Buddhist shrine along with methods to increase the power of this personal place of refuge.
Within modern busy life, it helps to have a quiet place for contemplation and relaxation. This class is an opportunity to understand the inspiring effects of setting up a shrine in your home that will help you to focus your energy for spiritual practice. We will explore the meaning behind the symbols and sacred objects, as well as the practice of water offerings, prayer, and prostrations. These crucial elements of regular practice help us to experience the joy and purpose of meditation.
Everyone is welcome—no prior meditation experience required.

Nicky Jones Nicky Jones has been studying Kadam Dharma for over twenty years. She is know for her sincerity and good heart, She teaches Dharma drawing from her own life examples and shows a great example of being a thoughtful, kind practitioner in daily life.
TEACHER IN MORDEN
Carr Ling has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for many years. She makes the teachings clear, practical, and easy to relate to, helping students connect Buddhist wisdom with their everyday lives. Her warm and compassionate approach creates a welcoming environment for all.
