Meditation for Schools
Why meditation & mindfulness in schools?
Meditation is a way of calming and training our mind to be happy. It is easy to do, and something everyone can learn! Meditation has many benefits, and is a valuable tool that can be learnt from a young age. Through becoming familiar with meditation and by practising mindfulness in our daily activities, we can control our feelings and emotions, gain inner strength and confidence, and develop into a happier individual.
Kadampa Meditation Centre London offers a multitude of varied and inspiring classes that allow children and adults alike to learn powerful methods to overcome stress and anxiety, improve your relationships and bring benefit to a troubled world.
Our teachers are trained following specially designed study programmes and are dedicated to helping people find the peace of mind everyone is looking for.

Visits to KMC London
Children of all ages receive many benefits from visiting KMC London: they discover how to reduce their anxiety and increase their ability to cope with life’s challenges, and visits are also great fun!
During the visit they learn how to meditate as well as Buddha’s life story and how his teachings can be applied to overcome their daily worries.
They also take part in fun activities such as making water offerings and mandala offerings.
Visits usually last between 1-2 hours. Coaches can drop groups at bus stops near both the Morden and Kensington centres.
KMC London offer a full range of visits to either the Morden Temple or Kensington meditation space.
Visits are led by qualified and experienced Kadampa Buddhist teachers.
