Going for refuge is the first of the four great preliminary guides which lead us to the state of full enlightenment. This retreat offers a rare opportunity to turn inward and strengthen our connection to the mind of refuge—the true protection from life’s pain and problems.

Our refuge lies in the timeless wisdom of Buddha’s teachings, which guide us away from suffering of body and mind. Buddha is the compassionate doctor, the Dharma his medicine, and the Sangha our spiritual friends who support us along the path. Together, these Three Jewels provide both temporary relief and ultimate freedom.

Through cultivating refuge, we develop inner confidence, resilience, and the clarity needed for authentic spiritual progress. This deep practice nurtures a stable peace, joy, and freedom in our own heart—qualities we can then share with others.

Although this is an in-depth retreat, all are warmly welcome to attend any or all sessions.
