This free meditation class provides an opportunity to develop a warm, peaceful, and loving heart, and to offer special prayers for world peace. It includes a guided breathing meditation and a short teaching on how to train in love, compassion, and patience, allowing you to turn every daily situation, even difficult ones, into opportunities for spiritual growth. Each class will cover a small section from the meditation book The New Eight Steps to Happiness. Everyone welcome!

Gen Lekmon is an experienced teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT), having taught extensively for over 30 years in the UK and the East Coast of the United States. She has been an ordained Buddhist nun for 28 years and is known for the clarity of her teachings, and for her warm, kind hearted nature. She teaches with joy and humour, making the teachings practical and relevant to our dai
ly life.

Nicky Jones has been studying Kadam Dharma for over twenty years. She is known for her sincerity and good heart. She teaches Dharma drawing from her own life examples and shows a great example of being a thoughtful, kind practitioner in daily life.
Linda Wrigglesworth is a student on the Foundation Programme at KMC London and has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 25 years. She is known for her ability to convey Buddha’s teachings with warmth, clarity and humour, and for her example as a modern Kadampa Buddhist who integrates Buddha’s teachings into her daily life.
Sara Rigby is a student on the Teacher Training Programme at KMC London and has been practising Kadampa Buddhism for many years. Known for her good-hearted nature, she shares Buddha’s teachings in a practical, down-to-earth way. Her clear and thoughtful approach helps make meditation and Buddhist wisdom accessible and meaningful for everyone.
