About the course book:
The course is based on the popular free ebook Modern Buddhism, also drawing on other sources.
The author writes, “Through reading and practising the instructions given in this book, people can solve their daily problems and maintain a happy mind all the time.”
With the wish that these benefits may pervade the whole world, Geshe Kelsang generously offered this book as a free ebook for everyone. Download your copy here:

Some participants find that their connection to Buddhist teachings deepens over the year, while others simply apply what feels relevant to their own lives and practices. The choice is entirely yours.

Yes. Kadampa Meditation Center London is part of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU), an international network of Mahayana Buddhist study and meditation centres founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in 1991. The NKT-IKBU follows an unbroken Mahayana Buddhist lineage from Buddha Shakyamuni through the great Kadampa teachers Atisha and Je Tsongkhapa, and was introduced to the West by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
The NKT-IKBU is an independent, non-political, international non-profit organisation, registered in England as a charitable company.
Meditation apps can be a great way to start and build consistency. This programme goes further by offering sustained study over time, direct guidance from a highly experienced teacher, and the opportunity to learn alongside a committed group of peers.
Rather than practising alone, you’ll be supported by an ongoing community and a coherent path of study.
Please reach out to epc@meditation.london and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you have.
