A Buddhist Perspective on Death and Dying with Kadam Lucy & Thomas Tozer
£25 | Free for members | Concessions available
Death is the one certainty in life, yet we often avoid thinking or talking about it. As a result, many of us feel anxious or unprepared when faced with illness, loss, or the reality of our own and others’ mortality.
To mark Halloween, we will explore Buddha’s clear and practical teachings on what happens to us when we die. Far from being pessimistic, these teachings enhance our appreciation for life, overcome our fear and anxiety, and make our life a lot more meaningful. We can also help others who are dying.
The event will include a talk, meditation, and fireside chat between the two teachers, taking any of your questions. This a great opportunity to explore this important topic from both a practical and spiritual perspective. Followed by Halloween treats (no tricks!). Fancy dress optional!
Everybody welcome!
