In these weekly classes you will learn proven techniques, based on Buddha’s teachings, for calming the mind, becoming more positive and focused, and reducing stress.
Each class begins with simple guided meditation (such as breathing meditation), followed by a practical talk on a topic such as how to make our mind peaceful, how to let go of anger, or how to develop a good heart towards others. In particular, the class will explain a particular method for practically solving our daily problems and improving our relationships with others. Then, the class will conclude with a second meditation on that topic and time for questions and discussion.
These meditation classes are open to everyone, regardless of your background and beliefs. They are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike and, although presented as part of a series, each class is self-contained – so you can drop in any time. Everybody welcome!

How to Stop Overthinking
5 Week Course starting September 8
Our mind is rarely still. We replay conversations, worry about the future, and struggle to switch off, leaving us feeling stressed, anxious, and exhausted—even if we left the office hours ago.
Yet Buddha explained that it’s possible to become increasingly calm, clear, and peaceful. In this short meditation series, we will explore simple meditation techniques and timeless Buddhist mind-training methods that enable to achieve that state even amidst the busyness of modern life. By applying these techniques in meditation and during our daily activities, we can learn to let go of unhelpful thought patterns, reconnect with the natural peace of our own mind, and cultivate a mind that remains peaceful and focused whatever life brings.

Week 2 – Sep 15: Breaking Free from Worry
