The Power of Positive Thinking | Saturday 5 October | 10.30am-1.30pm | Kensington & Morden
£20.00 – £25.00
Everyone understands the value of positive thinking, but how is it possible to think positively when things go wrong in our life, such as if we lose our job, our body becomes sick, or our relationship breaks down?
We can accomplish this only through learning to control our mind. With the right methods it is possible to transform our mind from negative to positive, and then maintain this positive mind even when things become difficult. In particular, by following Buddha’s teachings, we will learn how to distinguish between thoughts that are harmful and thoughts that are beneficial, and how to gradually replace the harmful ones with the beneficial ones. Eventually, we will gain the power to think positively all the time, whether things are going well or badly, and nothing will have the power to disturb our peace of mind.
Everybody is welcome.
