Sat 17 Aug | Science of the Mind | Half Day Course | 10.30am – 1.30pm | With Thomas Tozer | Kensington

£25.00

There is nothing more remarkable, more dangerous or more powerful than the mind. Our mind has the power both to wreak terrible suffering on ourself and others, and to take us to enlightenment. But what is our mind, exactly, and how can we access and direct this astonishing power? What is the relationship between our mind and the objects that it perceives? And what is the mind’s ultimate potential for peace, insight and bliss?

In this course we will answer all these questions through studying Buddha’s teachings on the mind. Finally, by gaining a deep understanding of the nature of our mind, we will learn how to solve our daily problems – such as anxiety, depression and anger – and develop the power to make ourself and others happy all the time. That is real power.

Everybody welcome.
