If we want to follow the quick path to enlightenment then we should practice the four great preliminary guides. This retreat combines two of these preliminary guides, the practice of Guru Yoga and making Mandala Offerings.
By practicing these preliminary guides we create special inner conditions in our mind that ripen our potential for spiritual realisations. Specifically the four great preliminary guides emphasise purifying our negativity, accumulating positivity or merit and receiving blessing of Buddha’s mind into our mind.
In this retreat by making mandala offerings we will be accumulating merit and by practicing Guru yoga we will receive the powerful blessings of all the Buddhas through our Spiritual Guide.
This retreat is accomplished within the Sadhana Offering to the Spiritual Guide.
