Kadam Morten & Kadam Lucy | Go Deep: The Secret to Real Inner Change
Saturday 18 July | 10.30am-3.30pm | World Peace Temple, Morden
We may want to grow, help others, and make a meaningful difference – but often we feel pulled in too many directions, distracted, or discouraged by how little seems to change. Buddha’s wisdom reveals a powerful truth: to truly benefit others we need to go deep – grounding ourselves in inner peace, stability, and self-confidence. This is the inner shift that changes everything.
In these talks and guided meditations, Kadam Morten and Kadam Lucy will give us practical advice on how to do this. Learn how to gradually release deep-seated unhappiness, insecurity, and distraction, and instead cultivate a steady experience of love, clarity, and joy.
Rather than being overwhelmed by the needs of the world, we will discover how to remain centered, with a mind that responds with wisdom and compassion. Through returning again and again to this deeper experience—especially the powerful mind of bodhichitta—we have a profound source of strength and purpose on tap.

Teacher(s)
Kadam Morten and Kadam Lucy went to their first-ever meditation class together almost 44 years ago, and have been close friends ever since. Their joint courses in New York City were hugely popular, so we are delighted that they’re now able to teach together at the London World Peace Temple!
Meeting Venerable Geshe Kelsang while attending York University in England, they were instrumental in setting up their teacher’s first Centre, Madhyamaka Centre. They relocated in the late 1990s to the US and, since then, between them, have helped to establish Kadampa centers in Florida, New York, California, Colorado, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and beyond.
