How to Meditate in a Busy World | Wed 4 Nov 7-8:30pm | With Kadam Lucy | City Meditation Space, Kensington
Practical talk and meditation with international Buddhist teacher.
Our lives are busy – our minds often even busier. With work, family, endless messages, social media, etc, all competing for our attention, it can feel really hard to slow down and enjoy a genuinely peaceful, contented mind.
Yet Buddha taught how being at peace while juggling the demands of a busy life is not just possible — it’s a skill that anyone can develop. In this talk and guided meditation, Kadam Lucy will explain how to get started, introducing simple, effective techniques for improving your focus and connecting with a deeper, natural mental peace. Come along to learn a short, regular meditation practice that you can integrate into the busiest of schedules, and how to carry that happiness and clarity into the rest of your day. Everybody welcome!
