Hello! Would you please consider sponsoring me for a ‘Walk for World Peace’ that I am doing to raise money for KMC London on Saturday, June 10th? KMC London is a non-profit charity and is part of an international network of Kadampa Centres established by our founder, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, to provide a place of peace and refuge open to everyone. With so many people suffering from stress and anxiety in these modern times, KMC London offers a gateway through which people can enter and discover profound methods for finding true happiness from within. All money raised will go towards supporting the temple’s activities of helping people to solve their daily problems by developing inner peace, wisdom and a good heart.

For our sponsored walk we will hit the London streets for an exhilarating 5-mile ‘Walk for World Peace’ around the local area, led by resident teacher Gen Chodor.

We’ll start our journey at the Kensington Centre at 1pm. The walk will include historic spots such as Portobello Road, Notting Hill’s most famous street, as well as England’s first purpose-built cinema, ‘Electric’, the infamous Trellick Tower, and the mysterious Carmelite Monastery.
