Train Your Mind to Meditate | Sat 22 Feb Kensington | Sat 8 March Morden

Meditation has many functions, from simply overcoming our stress and making our mind more peaceful, to accomplishing remarkable levels of concentration and making swift progress along the spiritual path. But what, exactly, is meditation? How can we meditate if we are naturally very distracted? And how can meditation help us in our daily life, when we have to deal with our overflowing inbox, burst water pipe, or our sudden feelings of anxiety?

In this half-day course we will answer all these questions. In particular, we will learn:

  • What meditation is and how to establish a daily meditation practice
  • How to use meditation practically to solve our daily problems and make ourself and others happy all the time
  • How to develop extraordinary levels of concentration, like that possessed by the yogis and yoginis of ancient times.

Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike – please come along!

Everyone welcome.
