Four Week Course Starting 7 May

We often feel stuck—replaying the past, holding onto regrets, or trapped in worry about what might happen next. This course explores Buddha’s powerful insights into impermanence: that everything is changing moment by moment, including our thoughts, feelings, and problems. By deeply understanding this, we can begin to release the weight of the past, stop feeding anxiety about the future, and discover a lighter, more peaceful way of living in the present moment.

Week 1 – May 7: Opening up to uncertainty
Week 2 – May 14: Leave the past in the past
Week 3 – May 21: Go with the flow
No class May 21
Week 4 – May 28: How to let go of guilt and emotional baggage

Breaking bad habits

Four Week Course Starting 4 June

We all have habits that seem hard to break, and unfortunately some of these also make us unhappy or harm our health. Instead of pushing or struggling with ourselves, trying to change through willpower alone, Buddha’s insightful advice enables us to make real, sustained, and smooth change from the inside out using our wisdom. This way, we can more effortlessly experience deeper joy and fulfillment ourselves and share this with others.

Week 1 – June 4: Forget willpower, try wisdom
Week 2 – June 11: Dealing with discontent
Week 3 – June 18: Dealing with selfishness
Week 4 – June 25: Dealing with confusion

How to think big

Four Week Course Starting 2 July

What does it mean to be the best version of ourself? What does it mean to live up to our potential – and is there more to this than meets the eye?

If you’re like most people, these are questions you’ve pondered as you search for identity, confidence, and fulfillment in life. When the results we achieve fall short of our expectations, we need to start asking the really important questions – questions that lead to a deeper understanding of who we are and who we can be.

Buddha had a lot to say about the subject. Come along in classes in July to find out more.

Week 1 – July 2: Can we really change?
Week 2 – July 9: Onwards and upwards
Week 3 – July 16: Making each day count
Week 4 – July 23: How to be the person you want to be
