THE WHEEL OF LIFE: How to break free from all suffering | Tuesdays 7 – 8:30pm | Nov 17, 24; Dec 1 | With Kadam Lucy | City Meditation Space

THE WHEEL OF LIFE: How to break free from all suffering
With Kadam Lucy
3-week course starting Nov 17

Why do we keep getting caught in the same patterns of mental pain and physical discomfort – even if we really want things to be different?

The Wheel of Life is an ancient psychological blueprint designed by Buddha for King Bimbisara to offer to his friend as a gift of wisdom, a painting so powerful that it has helped liberate many minds since.

In this three-week course with Kadam Lucy, we’ll unpack this famous image from the hub to the rim, seeing how to dismantle the three root delusions, navigate our way through the six realms of samsara, and break the chain of twelve-dependent related links to escape the wheel of suffering forever. Everyone is welcome; no prior background in Buddhism is required.

“Make effort to destroy the cycle of suffering,
Enter the path to liberation,
Abandon all delusions,
And learn to cherish others.” ~ Buddha

Week 1 – Nov 17: What keeps us going around in circles
